Hi there, this is my first blog in this wiki and I have been dying to get an answer for this.

It is well believed that Aizen was defeated at the hands of Ichigo but this event still haunts me until this day. Is it possible that Aizen just really wanted to find someone who can fight him without him holding back? Since Aizen is considered as one of the greatest prodigies Soul Society ever produced, maybe he just wanted someone who can hold him back, push him to his limits and defeat him? Finding joy in his fight with Ichigo, his wish was already fulfilled so the Hogyoku stripped him of his power. Ichigo also commented about losing Aizen's power as part of Aizen's will. Thoughts on this?
