Hey guys, I know its been forever since I have written a blog, I kinda took an unannounced hiatus. The main reasons were 1), I have a job and things have been really busy in my personal life, and 2) I found after re-watching the Tojū arc, I honestly had nothing more to contribute and in retrospect compared to the "arc that shall not be named," these episodes were bad, but they weren't BAD. So hopefully, in the coming weeks and months I will have interesting content for you guys to read both in my blogs and wiki articles. I will hopefully conduct one or two more interviews before the end of 2012, and I want to thank all my readers for their continued support.
Okay so the dub has started for the much-anticipated Ichigo and Ulquiorra fight. Ever since the fight aired in Japan a few years ago, I was excited for what the dub would sound like. When Soul Resureccion was released last year, the little sample we got, had me even more pumped. Although the real fighting doesn't really begin until episode 268, from the sample we got from 267, I have a feeling we are in for a real treat (plus for those of you who are not aware, Johnny Yong Bosch actually lost his voice when dubbing these episodes, so I know it must have been really intense in the recording booth).
For the actually episode, the majority of the episode was filler and nothing much happened. The fight between Chad, Renji, and Battikaroa was pretty forgettable in the Japanese version, and although it is still pretty forgettable in the dub, the fact Paul St. Peter used a "Dr-Claw-esque" voice made the fight 300% more awesome.
Overall it was a forgettable episode, but the action will pick up next week.
