Sorry for the super lateness, but my life has been crazy in ways that you don't want to know. Contrary to popular belief, I actually enjoyed this episode a lot. Most people from what I heard felt that the episode was rushed, but I also like to remind them that the enemy is not a panel by panel re-creation of the manga, otherwise it would be the manga. You simply cannot adapt something without making a few changes here and there, that's just a fact that everyone has to accept with any adaptation whether it's an anime, manga, book, film, tv, etc. That being said, I thought they adapted the attitude quite well in my opinion. I really like the artistic choice of having Riruka to tell all the backstories of the Fullbringers. Megumi gave a fantastic performance, and I feel by having Riruka tell the stories, it helped develop her character bit more and less the mystery to the Fullbringers.
I thought the fight between Byakuya and Tsukishima was fantastic. The animation was very fluid, and the fight, especially the ending, was surprisingly brutal. Byakuya looked like manga Jesus, no seriously its real! http://i.crackedcdn.com/phpimages/article/6/0/8/27608.jpg?v=1 http://bleach.wikia.com/wiki/File:C472pg17_Byakuya_cuts_through_Tsukishima.jpg the similarities are there. The only thing that bothered me was how ridiculously Tsukishima's voice was out of synch, come on Yuusuke-kun! The animation for next week looks amazing and I can't wait for next week.
