Happy Valentine's Day Bleach fans! Not only is it V-day, but it's Tuesday, so it's time for new Bleach. As you can see by the title I made a very bad math pun and I am sorry. However, we must move on.

The animation was excellent for a third week in a row, and other than a few questionable art choices (Most Epic Rapeface Ever! or Huge Disaster!, you decide), I did not have any major problems with the animation.

The overall voice work was excellent, but to be perfectly honest, I was a little disappointed with Ginjo's laugh. I was expecting something between Alucard's laugh in the Japanese version of Hellsing and Travis Willingham's (Which might be a good choice to play Kugo in the dub) Findorr laugh, while the laugh was still good, it felt like it was missing something. The laugh to me felt forced and to me it kinda sounds like if you were to go out to dinner with your boss and laugh at his jokes even though they aren't funny. For Kugo it was too quiet. Kugo physically is a big guy, so he should have a big, deep laugh. It did not have the crazy in it, and I was really let down. I am very picky with laughs no matter what language it is, or wether it is anime or something else, some people can laugh naturally, others can't. The other thing, and this honestly bothered me the most was the fact that the synch of Kugo's laugh was so off it was ridiculous. Look I understand that the seiyu don't have a long time to record and sometimes there maybe a few second delay in lip flaps, BUT COME ON!

The music selection was excellent and I liked that a lot of Hell Chapter tracks were used.

The story its self did not move too much and I enjoyed the episode, but I wasn't crazy about it. Plus next week is the episode everyone will be talking about and it looks great from the preview. Just a little warning, my longtime readers know that I have a deep oozing hatred of pairings, so just a reminder I don't want ANY ICHIRUKI CRAP! If there are any shipping battles I will have your comments deleted and if you harass others I WILL have you BLOCKED! I know I sound a little mean, but after the disgusting things I read on various non-Bleach wiki forums on the Viz/Mangastream disaster, I will enforce a zero tolerance policy on my blogs. Now I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, but be mature and don't insult people.

The omake was ok, not great, but ok, and I can't wait for next week!

Final Rundown

  • Story 7/10
  • Art/Animation 9/10
  • Sound Effects 10/10
  • Music 10/10
  • Acting 9/10
  • Omake 6/10

I give Bleach 360 a 8.4 out of 10. Join me next week when I review episode 361, and join me Saturday when I review episode 241 dubbed. Also be sure to check Shonen Jump Alpha out, SJA comes out every Monday.

Until Next Time! --LemursYou are about to enter the Twlight Zone  16:27,2/14/2012  16:27, February 14, 2012 (UTC)
