Hey Guys sorry I'm late...again, but after baking over 10 dozen cookies last night, I simply did not have the energy to write my review. Before I start, I am happy to announce that I am heading a new project here on this wiki. I am heading the Bleach Wiki: Media Project, with the goal to improve articles and content on the site as it relates to the content presented in various media (books, music, video games and movies). So basically any areas outside the anime series and manga that needs more content, pictures, etc. Right now I have decided to basically do the project in chunks and right now I want people to concentrate on video games. For more details please follow the internal link above and leave a message on the project talk page. Now, on with the review!
This week's episode was a vast improvement over the last few episodes. Even with the repeated animation frames I did not really mind, because they were well done. The filler Studio Pierrot did in this episode, is what they should have been doing all along in this arc, and in previous arcs as well. The method they are doing now, I think is much more satisfying to the viewer. Just because you extend a fight, does not mean you have to extend it to DBZ levels of ridiculousness, Studio Pierrot took the right approach in my opinion. Now if they keep this up with the rest of the fights in this arc, I think it will leave the vast majority of fans satisfied. I don't think adding character development filler is bad, I actually welcome it, however only add it when it is relevant to the manga storyline.
The animation and music selection were also very good, and the make was hilarious. Overall great episode, and I can't wait for next week.
