Sorry for the delay again guys, anyway I think I should just get this review over with. The episode was...tolerable. There were some things that I was just irked about (will get to that in a moment) and others where I felt like "I can live with that."
First, the things that for lack of a better (appropriate) word, irked me. Thinking about some of the excellent points that Yyp made in the comments section last week, I can understand why the first full hollow mask was used. While I still think having hollow Ichigo in at all is completely idiotic and violates canon so hard, I kinda get it. This might just be me, but the current hollow form looks like the bizarre love child of the original full hollow form and godzillia that fought a shag carpet and lost. The whole Nozomi/Kon thing, while I think its adorable, was just the most cliche thing with "we are friends" anime cliche. I actually started to laugh because the close-up shots looked so bizarre and were out of place. The animation was once again kind of a disappointment, and the whole doppelgänger thing is getting on my nerves, especially with Urahara. That was so dumb, but honestly I don't care enough anymore to complain about it.
For the things I found acceptable in this episode was the explanation of how Nozomi and...Inaba(rage!!!) were created. Again my thought was "ok I can live with that." I also liked the remix of precipice of defeat.
Other than that I am happy that on twitter Morita-San (voice director) said they have cast everyone for the lost agent arc and recording has begun. So, hang in there bleach fans, help is coming.
