Hello again Bleach fans (insert speech here) let's begin. I am sorry to my readers about how slim my reviews have been recently, there has not really been enough content for writing massive debates. This review will be slim pickings again, so to all who have been waiting all week for this, I am sorry.
By the title of this review, you already know my opinion on the episode. I didn't really like the episode, but I didn't hate it either, it was just meh. I don't want to say this arc is falling apart, but I just don't see the direction this is going, especially since Weekly Shonen Jump announced that the lost agent arc will begin in September. This arc has been going on three months now, and I just can't see what the point of this arc is. Even the Bount, Amagai, and Zanpakutō arcs plot line was apparent by the first few episodes. The story has not been bad, but it does not have the same momentum as in the first few episodes when everyone said "this is the greatest arc ever, even better than the manga arc." Keeping the manga out of the equation because it is irrelevant to this conversation, I just find myself underwhelmed. This arc has so much potential, and I just see many missed opportunities.
That aside, the episode was ok, I liked the techno remix of invasion. Other than that nothing too exciting happened.
- Story 7/10
- Art/Animation 8/10
- Sound Effects 10/10
- Music 9/10
- Acting 9/10
- Omake 7/10
