BLEACH 318 Review: On The Lamb

It's that time of the week again! I am super excited, I bought both Masked and the movie novelization of Bleach: Hell Chapter. So I will now be having a lot of fun translating an into novel into english(wish me luck on that one). My browser shut down half way through my first draft of this, so it will be a little bit shorter out of pure frustration at my computer. Enough small talk let's begin!

This was an ok episode, not my favorite, but still decent. We finally learn more about Kon's "friend," and the Reigai. The concept of the Reigai seems plausible, and I can understand why the Soul Society might or might not want them around (mindless slaves, personal armies, rebellions, take your pick). I am also very interested why Inaba wants Nozomi captured and/or dead. I just hope it doesn't turn into "I heard too much, so I must be eliminated," or "I must stop his evil plans." Only time will tell.

Other than a few problems I had with the animation, it was a pretty decent episode. Plus more Hell Chapter tracks (Yes Virginia, there is a Shigekuni Claus). The omake was funny poor Kon, you finally got had a run in with the law for your fetishes, I am sure that W. T. Pooh will represent you in the court of law.

Final Rundown

  • Story 7/10
  • Art/Animation 8/10
  • Sound Effects 9/10
  • Music 9/10
  • Acting 8/10
  • Omake 8/10

I give Bleach episode 318 a 8.2 out of 10. Remember to join me next Tuesday when I review Bleach episode 319, and join me on Saturday when I review Bleach 201 dubbed.
