Well, it's that time of the week again (yay!) time to review Bleach. But before I begin, I am starting someone new called Unlikely Bleach connection, where I find weird (and sometimes humorous) connections to Bleach and the people involved with the series. I won't do this all the time, just only when I find something really out there. The first segment is titled Can you find that Visored? The following two links contain some very familiar voices can you guess who they are? Give Up? The first video features Shinji Hirako himself Roger Craig Smith as the narrator in Say Yes To The Dress, and the women in the green dress is Tara Platt who provides the voice for Lisa Yadōmaru. The Snapple video is so stupid it's brilliant! Anyway enough side-tracking! Before I begin, the hours are counting down for your chance to vote for April's Featured Article, Featured Picture and Featured Quote! So if you haven't voted yet, please vote!
I will say this again, for a one-shot episode, it was not bad at all. Sure we had another case of the "plot-recycle monster," but I was still kinda shocked that Mappy killed his wife. I kinda expected something along the lines of Kaien/Aaroinero, where the monster was only using the memories of a certain person. I liked how this episode gave more development for Yachiru other than being the "cute, but sometimes annoying, pink-haired girl." Plus I never thought this day would come, but I am actually sad a filler character died(GASP)! I thought Mappy had a well-developed character arc for a 24-minute episode. You understood what he was about, and you could relate to him. The omake was great! Only Kenpachi (and probably Chuck Norris) can kill a bear with his bare hands! With the episode and the omake, something tells me that Kenpachi is not going to win the PETA Person of the Year Award. The music selection and animation was decent, and other than that, I really don't have an opinion on the episode.
- Story 7/10
- Art/Animation 7/10
- Sound Effects 9/10
- Music 7/10
- Acting 8/10
- Omake 10/10
I give Bleach episode 315 an 8 out of 10. Remember to join me next Tuesday when I review Bleach episode 316, which is the end of the one-shots, and boy I can't believe I am saying this, but...BRING ON THE FILLER ARC! I know Phoenix is going to love the next episode, because her "favorite" pairing will be in it (pardon my sarcasm). Plus join me on Saturday, when I review Bleach 198 dubbed. Until Next Time! --Lemursrule (talk) 23:15, March 29, 2011 (UTC)
