Well, I'm back for another review of Bleach. This one will be kinda short this week, but I can assure you that my review for episode 194 dubbed will more than make up for it. I had the most awesome weekend! The Kings Speech won Best picture, I didn't suck this year on my Oscar Ballet, got a new episode of Bleach dubbed, and I won a $200 prize pack on the internet, so I've been on cloud 9 for the last few days. But, enough of that, it's Bleach time!
First before I get to the review, I have a theory of how the anime will pan-out filler-wise. I think we will have a few more one-shot episodes, and we will get a filler arc and new op/ed themes beginning in mid-April(say around spring-break time).
The episode itself turned out to be better than I thought. Although I still love the original Karakuraizer episodes more, because they parodied old Japanese-Super Hero anime. The episode was cute and heart-warming. Although the plot has been done to death in old cartoons from Nickelodeon (well Bleach is still technically "a kid's show"), it still had that "aw, we learned a very valuable life lesson" moment. It also gave Kon his time to shine (which my god, Mitsuaki Madono made Kon in Ichigo's body sound kinda sexy in this episode), and I hope we can get more Kon moments filler or otherwise in the future. I had a very "Kon-tastic" day and I wore my adorable Kon T-shirt, and I am writing this review with my little Kon plushie on my desk. Kon is truly "a slightly perverted teddy-bear with a heart of gold" and that's why I love him! Plus Kon has awesome investigative skills. If Chizuru is suddenly strait, something is definitely up!
