Hello Bleach fans its that time of the week again! Well, I have been in a earthquake, a hurricane, and almost in a tornado this week and...I LIVED!!! Enough of natural disasters suddenly getting the hots for me, on with the review!
This is one of my favorite episodes of Bleach. I know I say that a lot, but this is truly one of my top ten favorite episodes of the series. When this episode premiered in Japan back in 2009, I fell it love with Hisagi and this episode was a real turning point in the quality of art and animation of the series. The episode was still fantastic two years later.
I was extremely happy with the performances in this episode. Both Travis Willingham and Steve Staley did a fantastic job. Travis really brought the crazy in Findorr, and thank you Viz/Studiopolis for both spelling and pronouncing Findorr's name correctly. Steve did a good job making sure that Shuehei and Tōshirō sounded different enough.
The scripting in Bleach continues to be spectacular, and I appreciate while they stayed true to the original Japanese version, Studiopolis took some creative liberties to keep everything fresh.
Overall another fantastic episode of Bleach and I can't wait for next week!
