Hello Bleach fans, it's time to review another english dubbed episode of Bleach. Before I begin I have am so psyched that I have completed many surveys to get a $25 amazon.com gift card and I am preordering Fade to Black on Blu-ray, and it will cost me (drumroll please) $0.00 . I don't really like showing off, but I was just too excited.
I really liked this episode for multiple reasons. However, the two main reasons why I liked this episode was because we had a lot more action and plot progression, plus we had some really great performances.
The script stayed very close to the Japanese script, and I appreciated that they "corrected" the meaning of Wabisuke. Speaking of Wabisuke, I must say that Grant George did a wonderful job in this episode, especially with the Squad Three speech. I also thought the rest of the cast did a wonderful job. I can definitely tell that Findor is voiced by Travis Willingham because he sounds like a snobby Roy Mustang. He sounds deeper than Patrick Seitz, but when you listen closely you can tell between the two. Although Findor's voice is a little deeper than what I would have expected, it still fits. When I really think about it, there really isn't anyone else who comes to mind who could voice Findor in english. Findor has such a distinct voice in Japanese that it is quite honestly very difficult to try to match the exact voice tone. Plus I am glad Studiopolis left in Findor's distinct "Exacta" sentences.
Overall I thought it was a great episode and I can't wait for next week.

I give Bleach 218 a 9.2 out of 10. Remember to join me on Tuesday when I review Bleach episode 336, and join me next week when I review Bleach 219 dubbed. Plus stayed tuned for my review for Bleach: Hell Chapter by the beginning of early September.
Until Next Time!
