A Possible Connection

After reading the latest chapter and seeing Ichigo hear Rukia's voice through his badge, I remembered that Ichigo prevoiusly had a dream of Rukia, Renji and Bakuya telling him to wake up if I'm not mistaken. Could this be a connection?
