Hello everyone! This is to be my second blog which, part of my "Guide to Bleach".
Manga: Bleach 461
I liked this week's chapter. Ginjō didn't get his face beaten in, like I had hoped, but that will happen all in good time. ^^
So it turns out that Yamamoto ordered all of the Captains and Lieutenants to give that sword their reiatsu, and that he ordered the return of Ichigo's powers because he felt that it was Soul Society's turn to save the one who saved them. I liked that. It showed that he is willing to break with tradition to do what he feels is right. I had my suspicions about Ginjō being a Substitute Shinigami ever since he was introduced, but today confirmed those suspicions. It doesn't look like he has his Shinigami powers any more, and is trying to get them back by stealing the Fullbring of others.
All in all, very good chapter. Can't wait for the next.
- Getsuga Tenshō: Getsuga seems to have gotten a lot bigger and much more powerful. It's nice to see Ichigo fighting with Zangetsu again.
- Ginjō's Fullbring: So it seems that Ginjō can utilize Ichigo's Fullbring in conjunction with his own. That's interesting.
Anime: Bleach 335
Folks, I don't even know what to tell you about this episode. I think it is possibly the worst one yet. So, Ichigo goes with Urahara and Kon into Soul Society to get his powers back. The method that Urahara developed to give his powers back to him was confusing, and I don't fully understand it, but then again, I share the same confusion over this entire arc.
What made me the most angry about this episode was that one minute Urahara is telling Ichigo that he won't receive his Hollow powers back, and then not five minutes later, he is telling Ichigo that his Hollow powers might go on a rampage. Folks, you can't fix stupid, and this episode may redefine stupid.
Then there is the preview of the next episode, and guys, I swear I rewound the thing three or four times to see if my fears were wrong, but I wasn't; the fused form of Kageroza and Nozomi looks like Vegeta from Dragonball Z, hairdo and all. I raged... hard.
The only good thing about this episode was the ending. I was very pleased to see Nelil as the character the ending was centered around, and I just enjoy the song Haruka Kanata. Even the omake wasn't too funny this time around. Can we just skip the rest of the filler arc and go straight back to canon? I don't think anyone would complain if they just didn't show anymore episodes of this filler anymore.
Just my take.
Well, thank you all for reading! Feel free to leave comments and whatnot below. Tune in next week for Bleach 462 in the manga and Bleach 337 in the anime!
