So, I've decided I wanted to start doing my own reviews of the weekly Bleach chapters. Xilinoc does an amazing job of reviewing the chapters themselves, but I want to take a... different approach to covering the material. A more satirical approach. Now, into the chapter:

As most of you have realized by now, "God Save the Queen" is not the name of this chapter (that would be "The Heart of the Wolf"), but I found it much more fitting. And funny. Oh, so funny.

So, the chapter opens to a brilliant, colored spread... of a flashback. Thanks Kubo. This page, and the few that follow it, are confusing to me. Grandpa Wolf spent... all of his appearances? Yes, all of them, telling Sajin, in essence, how stupid he was for doing all of this for a Shinigami. In this chapter, he's proud of him. Very proud. Someone stopped taking their meds.

Then we get to the meat of the chapter. I would like to take this moment to announce that I am framing the next few pages of this chapter. I have made it no secret that I despise many members of the Wandenreich. But Bambietta, or as I refer to her, Bambi, holds a special place in my heart. I do not know why, nor do I care to discover why, I despise this character so much. But I do. And seeing her, bruised, bloodied, and beaten by a Shinigami, was possibly the best thing that's happened to me since I got a B+ on my last Algebra exam.

When you realize HOW she died. It gets even better.

You see, my gentle snowflakes: Sajin did not just slash her with Dangai Jōe. Oh no. He actually pushed her own explosions back into her. I'll repeat that. He blew her to Kingdom Come with her own bombs. I've never been in love, but I have to say, if I was, I'd feel like I did when I read this page.

Now Sajin begins losing his transformation. And, contrary to what most speculated, he didn't die. Nope, he's back to being wolf-Sajin.... though... does anyone else think he shrunk a bit? *shrugs*

For the record, I really wanted to see Sajin crash Yhwach's party, but I digress.

Back at Crash Site Bambi, I have to say. There isn't enough space on my wall for all the frames of Bambietta's horrified looks of defeat. So I've settled for making a slideshow of them that will repeatedly play on my desktop until I grow tired of them.

That day will never come.

The rest of the Cheer Squad shows up and... eats her?

I don't know. Probably assimilated her with Sklaveri. That's what it seems like, based on her words. Either way, its good to know she's dead, that's all I'm saying.

And then, we get to the cliffhanger (if that's what you want to call it) of this chapter. Rukia and Renji are on their way back. I guess Byakuya, being the man of luxurious tastes that he is, flew first class because his ass is nowhere in sight. And with that, the chapter ends.

In all seriousness though, I liked this chapter. A lot. Been awhile since I could say that, so kudos to Kubo. If y'all end up liking these, I'll do more of them. I'll test the waters for the next couple of weeks and see.

Enjoy the chapter and see y'all next week!
