Its been along time, shouldn't have left you..... Here brothers and sister of the Bleachverse, is a thing most mindboggling yet exciting from another perspective. Kugo says to Ichigo, "all we have to do is beef up your body and new powers (or something to this nature) and then your Fullbring and Shinigami powers should fuse together.......Ichigo, you attain a power TRANSCENDING THAT OF SHINIGAMI...." There are a few questions that will arise as a result of this, please feel free to weigh in....

1) This transcending the power of a shinigami is old news for Ichigo, as in "BEEN THERE DONE THAT!" I mean its Kubo's world and he can do as he pleases with his characters and the storyline. However, I am wondering what this means as far as established knowledge. Ichi surpassed average shinigami with his birth, then his progress, total hollowfication, then JIN ZEN. This was his natural progression even if instigated by Aizen to some degree. Still, for us, transcending shinigami?? Thats not unbelievable in fact, I thought that it was the norm. Just who Ichi is. Part of his makeup. Strange....

2) I was under the impression that since Xcution's job was to get Ichi his powers back, they had more than basic knowledge of his existence and power. If this is so, then why would Kugo say to Ichigo the no-brainer statement in (1) about transcending shinigami? Wierd. It seems like he should know but in the frame, even Ichigo did not look all that surprised so....you know.... just saying that it was sort of ......well......

3) Do any of you think that maybe this is Kubo's way of taking Ichi to the max? I mean it seems that he maxed out as a shinigami (if you don't count Kido) and that he maxed out as a hollow (his destruction of Ulquiorra was fantastic and fitting for someone of Ulqui's level. If anyone else would've did it, it would have seemed like an unworthy end, corny even...), so now we are observing him using his human side. I mean, it makes sense and this is an avenue heretofore unexplored... As a human/shinigami/hollow hybrid, it is only natural to create some way to augment the third as a means of completing him. This is what I meant when I said in (2) that it seemed that Kugo should have known that Ichi, by his very existence, has already transcended shinigami. What did Aizen say, 'transcendental...?' Yeah, that was what he used to describe himself and Ichigo. Again, I don't know that this could mean. Is Kubo really ready to rock because, this has massive implications as it relates to what Ichi could truly be and the for the storyline as a whole. I really hope he does not drop the ball and fizzle out like some of the others. What do you guys think. Keep it clean. Its been along time, shouldn't have left you.....
