Hello brothers and sisters. Well, it's quite simple really... Ichigo gets entrusted with saving Soul Society by a dying Kuchiki Byakuya... Ichigo, without a word, rushes toward Juhabach with all intensive purpose with Tensa Zangetsu arriving first as an emissary of those intentions. After a small exchange of the necessary words, Ichigo attacks(normal as he NEVER assesses his opponents' weaknesses and strengths first) and gets owned after the first swing (But we all knew that would happen, didn't we?). After a supposed deathstroke from the blade of Juhabach, where he(..and we!) thought he dealt Ichigo severe damage, he takes a second look and finds that Ichigo possesses Blut Vene, a high level Quincy protection ability akin to the hierro of the Espada. This was quite a spectacular development.
Amazingly enough, I predicted this LONG AGO... Our beloved admin. on this, our beloved wiki restricted me from mentioning this at the time saying, "This is CRACK theorizing..." and thus the "no crack theories" rule was invoked, which of course, I respected then just as now. However, this new development puts a spotlight on my theory from that timeframe as I was one of the first if not THE first to say that Ichigo's powers weren't only shinigami/hollow but also resembled quincy and that it could be theorized although it is never implicitly mentioned, that Masaki(whom I will admit, we still know NOTHING about) was a quincy. This said, until it is made absolutely clear, nothing more can be mentioned, nor can it be entered into the wiki as solid fact. However, the last frames are quite telling. Thanks Kubo, I now know for sure that you read our wiki and your fans' opinions. Okay, comments, comments and keep them clean. P.S. Bro. Bankai's first reaction to seeing Ichigo's Blut Vene, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Excuse me everyone. Had to get that out... To those who know...., "I TOLD YOU SO!"
