Todō Gizaeimon (Gizaeimon Todō) was the 6th seat of the 9th Division in the Gotei 13 and served under his Captain Kensei Muguruma.

Appearance
Todō wears his black hair in a high ponytail and wears some sort of headgear. He usually has a serious look on his face and dresses like the other members of the 9th Division.
History
Turn Back the Pendulum Arc
Todō was first introduced where Kensei Muguruma and the other highly seated officers of the Ninth Division (including Kaname Tōsen) save a young Shūhei Hisagi and his friends from a hollow. They are later informed that there is a missing Shinigami, he is then tasked into retrieving a researcher of the 12th Division to collect and analyze samples. Later in the night while his lieutenant, Mashiro Kuna and Kensei were inside a tent, he and the other Seated Officers are attacked by someone. Initially, due to his strange behavior, Kensei and Kasaki believed that he was behind that attack, but after he was killed it was revealed that it was Tōsen's doing.
