I use bleachget.com and i was on Episode 366 and i went to click 367 and it said Bleach has been cancelled temporary.

It is unknown when Bleach Episode 367 English Subbed will air, due to cancellation of the Bleach anime tv series in Japan.

So basiclly this makes alot of people sad that is was cancelled but i need to know is it coming back on anytime soon so then ill know, so i can watch other animes that I have been meaning to watch.

The cancellation was never officially said to be temporary, that is just the hopes of fans. There is no indication of it returning at any stage.

    • Okay, Thanks

    • People believe that when the manga gets farther in, new episodes will be made. I do hope that is the case. I've waited every month, waiting for an announcement of its return. I'll have to stop worrying about it.

    • Well, allow me to put all your minds at ease for the future of the Bleach anime. According to Lemursrule, the only potential for the anime to return is for its fans to send letter to the company that owns it requesting they want it back. If that is the case, I believe we've nothing to worry about; given the anime's gigantic fanbase.

    • I do hope that new episodes will be produced, life with other Anime alone is so bland. Bleach really has sucked me in I must say. How sad it will be when it is all over..

    • Quick correction, the only thing I know is that bleach will return at some point, but since the manga is very popular at this point they might wait until its popularity decreases or till they are at a point where they do not have to make any fillers anymore.

    • We are currently 67 chapters into this final Arc and counting an average of 3 manga chapters/1 anime episode, there is currently material for roughly 22 anime episodes.

Hopefully the anime will continue when there is enough material to restart the anime, without risking it catching up to the manga.

Let's say the anime were to resume on sep 9th, just like the manga and we estimate an average of 3 manga chapters/1 anime episode, then here are the conditions:

      • Releasing 1 episode/week would cause the anime to catch up to the manga in just 33 weeks (2 chapters/week), hardly enough time for Kubo to finish the final Arc.
      • However if they were to release 1 episode every 2 weeks it would take 132 weeks, or 4 times longer, to catch up to the manga (1 chapter/2 weeks); giving Kubo to late March 2016 to finish the final Arc.

So with a schedule of releasing 1 anime episode every 2 weeks, rather than 1 each week, Kubo has almost 2 years longer time frame to finish the final arc, before the anime catches up.

    • Some people believe the anime will never be picked up, but instead there will be an OVA of this final arc (after the manga is over), since it's cheaper and doesn't require a fixed time slot for a series that just isn't profitable anymore.

    • How big is this last arc

    • It's supposed to be longer than the Arrancar arc.

    • Yeah, and the Arrancar arc, which is around 240 chapters long, is like five arcs in one (Task Force, Hueco Mundo, The Pendulum, Fake Karakura Town Part 1 - Espada, and Part 2 - Aizen) So the current arc should build up to around 250 chapters.

I think it'll be a lot shorter than that, Kubo was told to wrap things up and finish Bleach, so 250 chapters (around 5 years) is a very long time for it. My bet is in no more than 50 chapters.

    • It can't be 50 chapters, since 67 chapters have already been written (you must mean 50 additional chapters), and my earlier post wasn't really my personal opinion, but rather an explanation to K3npachi's post; that this arc will be longer than the Arrancar arc, and if so, it must be longer than 240 chapters.

I'm also curious about when/where Kubo stated that he was pressured into finishing this final arc quickly? If any one has more information on this, then please leave a reply on this thread.

I would rather see the manga finishing or getting to 3/4 of this arc before the anime would be continued, and the usual pace of 1 episode every week being maintained.

Depending on the total number of chapters in this arc, it could even lead to 2 more seasons of the anime.

    • The anime died with the fillers, the Manga died when Aizen was defeated. The whole concept of Bleach was too beat Aizen. I do give Kubo credit for killing people off like crazy in the last arc.
