If it cleanses Hollows, shouldn't it cleanse itself?
If it cleanses Hollows, shouldn't it cleanse itself?
But if you kill a Hollow with a normal sword, it'll just die, right? But a Zanpakuto is different. Even if it critically damages a Hollow, it will revert to being a Soul and pass on to the Soul Society. The reversion is what's so weird. At first I thought it was some kind of sacred forgiving or cleansing power, but now that I think about it, that doesn't make sense (unless you just say that Kubo had a different intention when he wrote that, which would explain why we've never seen a Soul post-cleansing, as far as we know, with the exclusion of those that went to Hell). Besides the reversion, I'd say that it simply acts as a pass, or even a beam-me-up-Scotty teleportation to the Soul Society (or to the Dangai? Idk). After all, that's what Konso does. But if the Zanpakuto is Hollow itself, how can it reverse Hollowness?
EDIT: By the way, where can I ask you mods questions about like, the wiki itself and stuff? Like for this question, and how to change my profile page so it has all the categories that SunXia has on hers (I'd like to list my favorite Zanpakuto, too)?
<Mod Edit (SX): Please edit previous posts instead of double posting. Thanks.>
I would assume that if one were to smack themselves in the forehead with their Zanpkauto, while Hollowfied, they'd lose their abilities...
