Only high spiritual power?

Since there was an edit on Kūgo's page about Ichigo being limited when there wasn't any proof of that, I have to ask since it also shows up here; where is it suggested that Byakuya indeed had his Gentei Reīn on? It's a bit speculative to suggest the idea, even though they technically passed through the Senkaimon. Among the other Fullbringers, you can argue that Moe's level is justified since Ikkaku wasn't a lieutenant at the time and wouldn't have one, but I find Renji and Kenpachi stomping their fights against Jackie and Giriko respectively with their Gentei Reīn on to be a bit unconvincing. After all, Moe was not empowered by Ichigo's Fullbring and still matches a lieutenant-level opponent in Ikkaku. --Gold3263301 ^(talk) 03:44, 9 November 2022 (UTC)

It was established that the Gentei Reīn is automatically applied to any Captain and Lieutenant upon entering the human world. The only time it's not applied is during an exceptional emergency, such as the Fake Karakura battles. I highly doubt a few Fullbringers count as an "exceptional emergency", and we had no indication any of the officers present took off their seal as well. Timjer ^(talk) 12:07, 9 November 2022 (UTC)

Sure, but now it implies that both Kūgo and Moe are significantly stronger than the other Fullbringers, which can't be true, especially for Moe (because I don't think Ikkaku then was 5 times weaker than Renji). Tsukishima has also shown to be capable of holding his own against every other Fullbringer, including Kūgo himself before being empowered, who is still labeled as "great". The power levels seriously do not add up if the Gentei Reīn was indeed applied here, given what happens in the next arc (everyone, 5 times stronger than depicted in the last stages of the Fullbring Arc, loses horribly). It should also be noted that Tsukishima completely adapted to Byakuya's level of skill with his past insertion. Byakuya was essentially cornered until he thought to grab his blades. Wouldn't another option be to simply release his seal to brutally overpower Tsukishima? He was already planning on leaving the Human World immediately after. The Fullbringers themselves might not be an exceptional emergency, but saving Ichigo? I don't think they intended on half-baking that effort. --Gold3263301 ^(talk) 13:21, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
