Summary
Added by YypAt the 4th Division Barracks, Ichigo Kurosaki explains to Captains Retsu Unohana, Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake that defeating their Zanpakutō Spirits will return them to normal. At Ukitake's request, Renji Abarai and Zabimaru join the meeting. Renji tells them that his Zanpakutō does not remember anything about their short-lived rebellion. Renji and Zabimaru then begin bickering and chasing each other around the room, until Unohana tells Renji not to run around like a child in the 4th Division's building.
Meanwhile, at the Zanpakutō hideout, the various Zanpakutō Spirits engage in separate arguments until Muramasa returns. Hōzukimaru tells Muramasa that he heard that he let a Shinigami go and says that it isn't like him. Muramasa replies that Ichigo has a unique ability. Kazeshini then says that he is just a weak Substitute Shinigami that he will tear to shreds if he sees him. Muramasa replies that he wants to take him alive if possible. The other Zanpakutō agree to help him.
At the 4th Division barracks, Rukia Kuchiki is still recovering from her earlier battle. She apologizes to Ichigo for going off alone. When Ichigo questions her reasons for doing so, Rukia says that she has a bad feeling about the situation with her brother, Byakuya. Ichigo promises to find him before Ikkaku Madarame appears and asks Ichigo how he got his Zanpakutō back under control.
Added by YypLater, outside the entrance to a building, two guards are attacked by Byakuya. Marechiyo Ōmaeda, who is leading a small contingent of Shinigami to examine records to determine if there was ever a Zanpakutō called Muramasa, discovers the unconscious guards. His men are knocked away by his Zanpakutō, Gegetsuburi. The two briefly talk and trade insults with each and just as they are about to fight, Ōmaeda is hit by a section of wall which was kicked by Ichigo. Ichigo says that he hit the wrong one, but Ikkaku says that since it is just Ōmaeda it does not matter.
Added by SunXiaHōzukimaru identifies himself to Ikkaku, but Ikkaku is not certain it is indeed his Zanpakutō. In order to prove his identity, both of them began doing the lucky dance in sync with each other, before engaging in battle. As a bemused Ichigo looks on, Gegetsuburi attacks him. Ichigo is not impressed by the surprise attack, but Gegetsuburi brushes off his criticism. Meanwhile, after getting a few early hits in, Ikkaku is confronted by Hōzikimaru's Bankai. After Ichigo defeats his opponent, a roughed up Ikkaku lands nearby. As Ikkaku gets back up and approaches his Zanpakutō Spirit, Suì-Fēng, Ukitake, Shunsui and the Onmitsukidō surround them. Ikkaku protests that it is his fight, but Hōzukimaru escapes.
The Onmitsukidō soldiers detain Gegetsuburi and find the unconscious Ōmaeda. Ukitake suggests that they allow the Shinigami Research and Development Institute to examine the Zanpakutō Spirit. Meanwhile Ichigo chases after Hōzikimaru, but is attacked by Senbonzakura. Ichigo unleashes Bankai to quickly repel numerous blades. Ichigo spots a solitary figure on top of a nearby tower, who turns out to be Byakuya, who quickly disappears.
