Did you read what I had to say about him being based on a shinigami?
If White's (un)life ended with Soul Suicide then he couldn't have simply been based on one, he had to actually be one, or possess the powers of one at some point in his life.
If he was a genuine hollow with the spirit structure of a shinigami he would be no different from an Arrancar aside from his mask and mental corruption.

That contradicts the very definition of an arrancar, a being that tears off its mask and seals the nuclei of its powers into the form of a sword.
In the first place the Visored are masked warriors, the name itself stems from the visor on a knight's helm.

Arrancar have a Hollow base and are imitations of shinigami, while Visored have a shinigami base and go insane due to the melding and chaotic, cognitive dissonance of two souls.
By definition White was a Visored who had reached its final state of development, thus transcending shinigami and hollows. His base was too weak to form an truly peerless adversary akin to Aizen and Ichigo and his lack of coherrent thought made him a lethal fighter, but a poor survivor.
Further more, Arrancar don't experience Soul Suicide.

Alright! So as many of you know, I am now in charge of the [[Bleach Wiki:Arena|Arena]]. I can say that it has been fun running it, what with getting a suggestions page running. As the title implies, there is a tournament coming to the Arena.

==The Tournament==
It was bound to happen at some point right? Well here it is! It will start Saturday, May 26, 2013. Because of the size of the bracket, For the First round, I will run two matches simultaneously.
