Ryohei Toba[]

Ryohei Toba is a friend of Karin Kurosaki.

Appearance[]

Ryohei has short, black hair on the sides of his head and long, blonde hair on the top of his head.[1]

Personality[]

Like the other boys of the group, Ryohei likes soccer, is quite shallow and he views Karin, who is the strongest and smartest of the group, as their leader. He is easily intimidated and resorts to cowering behind Karin when feeling threatened.[2] He is the most perverted of the group.[1]

Plot[]

Agent of the Shinigami arc[]

While playing soccer with his friends, Heita is hurt by a stray ball from Karin. As Kazuya questions her, Ryohei asks Karin where her motivation is. He looks in surprise as she leaves.[3] As the group discuss what to do, Ryohei says they should leave her alone. However, Kei declares that he is going to call her back, surprising the rest of the group who quickly decided to go too. They are interrupted by the nearby fight between Bulbous G and Yasutora Sado as the latter attempts to protect Karin. Unable to see the Hollow, the four boys mistake this for a fight between Karin and Sado. Karin pushes them out of harms way.[4]

Arrancar arc[]

One day the group go to the local playing field only to find that some older boys are playing during the time slot they had reserved. Toba points this out to them, but they are told to practice elsewhere. Karin confronts the other group as the four boys cower behind. Eventually, they agree to play a match against each other. While reluctant and doubtful about their prospects, they resign themselves to playing the match. Later, as Karin tries to recruit Tōshirō Hitsugaya to play for them, Toba drags her away from him. He points out that Tōshirō looks like a gang member. Karin kicks a ball at Tōshirō, who kicks it back, hitting Kei in the face. Seeing this, the boys quickly take a liking to him and invite him to their training sessions. On the day of the match, the boys lament the fact that Tōshirō did not train with them and begin their game. With Karin injured and the score heavily against them, the team are glum. However, Tōshirō arrives and joins the match. They soon beat the other team, but as they celebrate, the boys scatter, because of the appearance of a Hollow. They survive thanks to Tōshirō's swift defeat of the Hollow.[2]


Heita Toujoin[]

Heita Toujin is a friend of Karin Kurosaki friends.

Appearance[]

Heita has a serious-like expression, big eyebrows and a hairstyle in which the edges are pointy.

Personality[]

Like the other boys of the group, he likes soccer, is quite shallow, and he views Karin, who is the strongest and smartest of the group, as their leader. He is easily intimidated and resorts to cowering behind Karin when feeling threatened.[2]

He looks on as she leaves.[3] As the group discuss what to do, Heita says that Karin will only get high and mighty about it if they go after her. However, Kei declares that he is going to call her back, surprising the rest of the group. They quickly decide to go as well, but they are interrupted by the nearby fight between the Hollow Bulbous G, and Yasutora Sado as the latter attempts to protect Karin. Unable to see the Hollow, the four boys mistake this for a fight between Karin and Sado. Karin warns them to leave, but Heita complains that they were worried about her. Karin pushes them out of harms way as the Hollow rears up behind them.[4]

Trivia[]

  • Toujoin means "east"; "article" or "clause"; "mansion" and Heita means "feathers"; "thick." Despite his impressive name, he is actually poor.[1]



Kei Uehara[]

Kei Uehara is one of Karin Kurosaki's friends.

Appearance[]

Kei has an afro hairstyle, a round-like nose and big lips. He's called "Donny" because he looks like Ronald McDonald.[1]

Kei is the goalkeeper, but he is unable to prevent the opposing team from scoring four goals. With Karin injured and the score against them, the team are glum. However, spirits pick up when Tōshirō arrives and joins the match. They soon beat the other team, but as they celebrate, the boys are scattered from the appearance of a Hollow. They survive thanks to Tōshirō's swift defeat of the Hollow.[2]


Kazuya Usaka[]

Kazuya Usaka is friends with Karin Kurosaki.

Appearance[]

Kazuya has short brown hair with bangs that end right above one of his eyes. He also wears glasses.

Personality[]

Kazuya is quite stupid.[1] Also, like the other boys of the group, he likes soccer, is quite shallow and he views Karin, who is the strongest and smartest of the group, as their leader. He is easily intimidated and resorts to cowering behind Karin when feeling threatened.[2]
