Summary[]

Ep158PescheDisgustsUryu

Uryū Ishida is disgusted by the liquid that Pesche Guatiche sneezes out.

When Pesche Guatiche sneezes out a large amount of liquid from his protuberance onto the floor of the hallway they are standing in, a disgusted Uryū Ishida rears back and berates Pesche for snorting out his mucus like this, only for Pesche to claim that it is actually the liquid he produces that makes anything it touches incredibly slippery. With a surprised Uryū identifying this as Infinite Slick, a confused Pesche wonders what he is referring to.

Ep158PescheExplainsDiscrepancy

Pesche explains the discrepancy with his previous statement.

Annoyed by Pesche forgetting this again, Uryū reminds him that this is the name he gave the slippery liquid, prompting Pesche to affirm this and praise Uryū's observational skills while addressing him as Ichigo Kurosaki. After reiterating that he is Uryū, though Pesche insists that it does not matter who he is, Uryū begins to walk away, but stops upon recalling that Pesche said he ran out of Infinite Slick during the prior battle, which leads Pesche to assume that it was stuffed up somewhere in his system and thus led him to assume that there was no more left.

Ep158PescheRevealsMucus

Pesche reveals that the liquid is actually mucus.

However, upon leaning down to gather up the liquid with his hands and lamenting the waste, with Uryū wondering if he plans to reuse it somehow since that does not seem feasible, Pesche realizes that the liquid is actually mucus and not Infinite Slick as he stands up with it on his palms to show Uryū, who recoils and frantically tells Pesche to keep away from him. With Pesche advancing on him and insisting that they are friends who share the same fate, Uryū begins running away and questions why Pesche only gets his name right at times like this before ordering Pesche to wash his hands, prompting the latter to inquire where he can do this.

Ep158PescheWipesHands

Pesche wipes his mucus on a distracted Uryū's cape.

Uryū dashes far ahead of Pesche with Hirenkyaku when the latter continues to follow him, only to stop running in surprise upon sensing Yasutora Sado's Reiatsu, the intensity of which bewilders him. Suddenly, Pesche catches up to Uryū and wipes his hands on the latter's cape, causing Uryū to scream in horror. Meanwhile, in Gantenbainne Mosqueda's area, Sado walks forward with the completed form of his Fullbring, Brazo Derecha de Gigante, and notes that he did not realize until now, perhaps intentionally, that he felt his power stirring upon coming to Hueco Mundo in a manner that it did not when he visited Soul Society.

Ep158SadoIdentifiesPower

Yasutora Sado reveals his power is akin to a Hollow's.

Describing how it grew stronger as he got closer to this place until it finally calmed down when Gantenbainne hit him for the first time, Sado theorizes that this stirring was excitement and that his power was longing to come home, with Gantenbainne's attack being akin to a rough welcome from a countryman that caused his power to remember what it was. As he continues approaching Gantenbainne, Sado admits that he has wondered about the nature of his power ever since he acquired it because it is not like that of a Shinigami or Quincy, and after noting that he has finally figured it out, Sado reveals it is more akin to the power of a Hollow.

Ep158SadoBlocksKick

Sado casually blocks Gantenbainne Mosqueda's kick.

Once he names Brazo Derecha de Gigante as his right arm's true form and true power, Sado fires a stronger El Directo blast at Gantenbainne, who is sent crashing through the far wall and out into a hallway with scuffs on the right side of his face. Upon skidding to a halt, Gantenbainne sees Sado stepping out of the hole in the wall and moves to kick him with Sonído, but Sado effortlessly intercepts his kick with Brazo Derecha de Gigante and asks Gantenbainne if he slowed down. With Sado sending Gantenbainne flying with a swipe of his arm, the latter lands on a nearby wall, which is cracked extensively by the impact of his foot.

Ep158GantenbainneEmbeddedPillar

Gantenbainne is left embedded in the side of a pillar.

In the time it takes for Gantenbainne to look at his foot and back, Sado leaps up to him and throws a punch with explosive force that destroys the upper part of the column Gantenbainne was located near and sends him crashing through it. While leaping out of the resulting dust cloud, Gantenbainne frantically questions where Sado got this power from and how his response time to Sonído has increased so much, only to be startled when Sado appears behind him in midair and punches him into another pillar that Gantenbainne is left embedded in. When Sado follows him to the pillar for another attack, Gantenbainne disappears with Sonído just in time to evade.

Ep158GantenbainnePunched

Gantenbainne is punched out of the air by Sado.

As Sado falls to the ground alongside the wreckage of the destroyed pillar, Gantenbainne reappears above him and insists that he should be able to block this, but Sado quickly reappears behind him and comments that Gantenbainne really did get slower prior to punching the latter in the face hard enough to slam him into the ground below, where Gantenbainne bounces into the air and rolls backward along the ground twice to come to a stop. Watching Sado approach him through the large impact crater left by their clash, Gantenbainne mentally calls him amazing and rushes forward with energy charging in his right Zanpakutō gauntlet.

Ep158SadoPunchesGantenbainne

Sado bypasses Gantenbainne's own punch to hit him.

However, Sado quickly infuses Brazo Derecha de Gigante with energy as well and throws his own punch past Gantenbainne's to hit the latter directly in the face, sending him crashing into the wall at the far end of the hallway. With Gantenbainne pushing a large chunk of rubble off of himself and observing that Sado has gotten faster again, which leaves him frantically wondering what he should do, Sado asserts that there are no comparable powers in this world because power always changes and creates small advantages in a fight due to its animalistic nature before concluding that the one who broadens their advantage the most in battle wins.

Ep158ElDirecto

Sado blasts Gantenbainne out of the air with El Directo.

Gantenbainne leaps out of the rubble, leading Sado to follow him into the air as he charges Brazo Derecha de Gigante with energy, and commends this theory prior to pointing out how they still do not know who will win and attempting to move behind Sado with Sonído. Suddenly, Sado reappears behind Gantenbainne shortly afterward and repeats this four more times when Gantenbainne continues moving through the air to different parts of the hallway, leaving Gantenbainne to turn around in shock and realize that he cannot fully block this just before Sado fires another El Directo that completely engulfs Gantenbainne.

Ep158GantenbainneResurreccionDragra

Gantenbainne activates his Resurrección, Dragra.

In the aftermath, Sado approaches the area where Gantenbainne landed while the latter admits that Sado was not kidding about using his true power, only to remind Sado that he has a true form too and emerge from the dust cloud with his Resurrección, Dragra, activated. After pulling down his visor, Gantenbainne holds out his fists together in front of him, asks God for forgiveness, and fires a massive blast of energy at a shocked Sado, leveling the surrounding area in the process. However, in the clearing dust, Gantenbainne raises his visor in astonishment when Sado apologizes to him for forgetting to mention something earlier.

Ep158BrazoIzquierdaDelDiablo

Sado manifests his other arm, Brazo Izquierda del Diablo.

Clarifying that Brazo Derecha de Gigante is the true form of his right arm where Oscar Joaquín de la Rosa's soul dwells, as Oscar taught him to use his power to protect people and consequently concentrated his defensive power into his right arm, Sado reveals that he was able to unlock his offensive power through his training and displays his left arm, which has manifested the other half of his Fullbring, Brazo Izquierda del Diablo, as white armor with a spike protrusion on his shoulder that represents his offensive power. In response, an initially stunned Gantenbainne charges up two energy spheres with his hands and claims that the name sounds sinister.

Ep158SadoStopsBlast

Sado counters Gantenbainne's Rugir del Dragón.

After combining the two energy spheres in front of him, Gantenbainne fires the singular energy projectile at Sado. However, Sado simply grabs the projectile with his left hand and crushes it, causing its energy to disperse. With this repeating when he fires another projectile at Sado, an initially annoyed Gantenbainne admits to being impressed, prompting Sado to assert he always fights at full strength because he knows no other way to fight. In response, Gantenbainne decides to fight at full strength too and fires Rugir del Dragón at Sado, who simply punches it with his left hand, stopping it in midair as its energy erratically careens around him during its dispersal.

Ep158SadoCatchesKick

Sado grabs Gantenbainne's kick with his left arm.

An angered Gantenbainne reappears above Sado and comes down on him with a downward kick, but Sado casually grabs his foot and throws him into one of the remaining pillars, which crumbles from the impact. From within the resulting dust cloud, Gantenbainne fires a barrage of small energy blasts at Sado, who blocks them with Brazo Derecha de Gigante, and is surprised when the dust clears to see Sado has vanished from his sightline. Upon noticing that Sado has moved behind him, Gantenbainne turns around and narrowly avoids a blow from Brazo Izquierda del Diablo by leaping back several meters with a flip through the air.

Ep158LaMuerte

Sado defeats Gantenbainne with La Muerte.

Sweating in intimidation, Gantenbainne roars and runs forward while throwing an energy-infused uppercut. In response, Sado effortlessly blocks the blow with Brazo Derecha de Gigante, runs forward across the hall with his arm still against Gantenbainne's fist to push the latter back against the wall at the opposite end, and holds out Brazo Izquierda del Diablo, which begins crackling with energy at its fingertips as Sado clenches his fingers into a fist and performs La Muerte, delivering a powerful blow to Gantenbainne that completely shatters Dragra and imprints a large and fearsome skull onto the wall behind him.

Ep158SadoSparesGantenbainne

Sado spares Gantenbainne's life in gratitude.

The force of Sado's blow destroys the wall and sends a near-unconscious Gantenbainne flying onto the sands outside, where Sado, having sealed both halves of his Fullbring, kneels at the former's side and observes that he only discovered his power because Gantenbainne's attack was so ferocious. Thanking Gantenbainne for helping make him stronger than ever before, Sado promises to not kill him and wishes Gantenbainne well while standing up to depart, only to see a sunny blue sky above him and wonder if he is not within the walls of the dome after all because he cannot see the ceiling of the dome, even though the sunlight does not make sense.

Ep158IchigoSensesConfrontation

Ichigo Kurosaki senses something happening to Sado.

As he ruminates on how this can be possible considering that Hueco Mundo is a land of perpetual darkness with an unmoving moon, Sado is alerted when an alarmed Gantenbainne tells him to run. Elsewhere, Ichigo briefly stops with Nel Tu upon sensing something and assures her that it is nothing while Uryū comes to a halt behind Pesche, who addresses him as Ichigo and calls him slow. When an irate Uryū questions how Pesche is somehow running ahead of him now, Pesche declares it is a seniority hierarchy, further confusing Uryū. During this, 6th Division Lieutenant Renji Abarai senses something as well, but tells Dondochakka Birstanne that it does not matter.

Ep158NnoitraWithstandsPunch

Nnoitra Gilga remains unharmed by Sado's strike.

Back outside, Sado turns around to see Nnoitra Gilga standing with his massive Zanpakutō slung over his shoulder. Despite Gantenbainne frantically urging him to run away, Sado manifests Brazo Derecha de Gigante once again and observes that Nnoitra is not attacking him despite being visibly strong. Not wanting to find out what Nnoitra can do by waiting, Sado manifests Brazo Izquierda del Diablo as well and resolves to finish this in one blow before slamming his energy-imbued left fist hard into Nnoitra's chest. However, a grinning Nnoitra remains completely unharmed and questions if this is all a shocked Sado has got before attacking him in turn.

Ep158IsshinEvadesSeeleSchneider

Isshin Kurosaki narrowly evades a Seele Schneider.

Ryūken Ishida announces that he will be talking about the Seele Schneider today and notes that despite being shaped like a sword, it functions like a chainsaw due to Reishi oscillating along its edge at three million revolutions per second, loosening the bonds between Reishi that its cuts so its wielder can steal that Reishi for their own ends during battle. When Isshin Kurosaki summarizes this as allowing a Quincy to benefit from someone else's work while lying on a nearby bed, Ryūken fires a Seele Schneider at Isshin, who barely evades this in shock by arching his body, and claims that his hand slipped, to Isshin's disbelief.
