NaNaNa Najahkoop (ナナナ・ナジャークープ, NaNaNa Najākūpu) is a Quincy and a member of the Vandenreich's Stern Ritter with the designation "U".^[1]

Appearance

NaNaNa has long, dark hair arranged into five fanned-out spikes, and unusual teeth that alternate between black and white. The rest of his upper facial features, including his eyes, are covered by a smooth mask with a reflective surface.^[2] His attire is a variation of the Stern Ritter's typical white uniform, including the order's signature hooded-cloak, though the right side of his is bunched atop his shoulder, revealing a small shirt beneath that leaves his abdomen and thin arms bare. A pair of white, high-waisted pants and boots complete his clothing. He has a ring on each of his fingers and a bracelet on either wrist.^[3]

Personality

NaNaNa has little issue with criticizing his fellow comrades, including those of the Stern Ritter. By his own admission, he has no understanding of art. He is quite arrogant, claiming that he could defeat Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi, a captain of the Gotei 13, within five minutes.^[3]

Plot

The Thousand-Year Blood War arc

Upon receiving the orders of Yhwach, NaNaNa and the other Stern Ritter gather at the Gate of the Sun, before traveling to the Seireitei to participate in the destruction of Soul Society.^[4] Once there, he and the others create pillars of blue flame prior to engaging the Shinigami in battle.^[5] Encountering Captain Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi, who had just received word of casualties in his Division, NaNaNa asks if anyone died, but Rōjūrō refuses to answer. In a brief exchange of words, both declare that the other will soon be dead.^[3]

When Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto later confronts Yhwach, NaNaNa, Äs Nödt, and Buzzbee attempt to ambush the captain-commander from above. Stating that it was naive of him to face their leader alone, NaNaNa and the others attack, only to be incinerated by Yamamoto's Ryūjin Jakka.^[6]
