Jinta Hanakari (花刈 ジン太, Hanakari Jinta) is a small, red-haired boy who is supposed to do manual labor for the Urahara shop, such as cleaning. But instead, he usually slacks off and forces Ururu Tsumugiya to do all the work. Though he frequently bullies her, he does care for Ururu as he recovers her body after she is injured by an Arrancar. Though he is more knowledgeable than one might expect given his young appearance, he is still childish and immature, such as calling Renji Abarai a "moocher" (居候, isōrō). Jinta seems to have a crush on Yuzu Kurosaki, calling her "The Goddess". He also charged her with only 500 Yen for a extremely large amount of candies and regarding anything she gives to him as "sacred". His primary weapon is an oversized iron rod, similar to a tetsubo, which he can use to beat others (mainly Hollow's but also Kon) to a bloody pulp. Jinta dreams of being a professional baseball player.

Synopsis
Agent of the Shinigami arc
Jinta was seen bullying Ururu, and also surveyed Ichigo's training from Kisuke. For the most part he was an annoyance, but warned Ichigo that the last encroachment was nothing like the others, showing at least a moderate knowledge of Pluses and Hollows.
Arrancar arc
Jinta protected Kisuke Urahara's shop while he was away, along with Renji and Ururu. He watched Renji's fight with Yylfordt Granz, and took Ururu away after she was injured.
Powers and Abilities
Strength: Considering his age, Jinta is quite strong, he's able to use his over-sized Iron club with ease.
High spiritual energy: Being able to see spirits and being able to stand in the air, it should be noted that Jinta has a considerable amount of spiritual energy.
