Heizō Kasaki (山田 清之介, Kasaki Heizō) was the 3rd seat of the 9th Division in the Gotei 13 and served under his Captain Kensei Muguruma.

Appearance
Kasaki is a tall and muscular Shinigami. He is bald but has a mustache. He usually has a serious look on his face and dresses like the other members of the 9th Division (with the exception of Mashiro, who is outlandish in clothing).
History
Turn Back the Pendulum Arc
Kasaki was first introduced in chapter -104 where Kensei Muguruma and the other highly seated officers of the Ninth Division (including Kaname Tōsen) save a young Shūhei Hisagi and his friends from a hollow. They are later informed that there is a missing Shinigami, he is then tasked with having the rest of the unit hold place and setting up camp. Later in the night while his lieutenant, Mashiro Kuna and Kensei were inside a tent, he and the other Seated Officers are attacked and killed by Kaname.
