Chapter 363's Giant Hollow
Edit
Well the spoiler warnings have been lifted so I guess it is safe to speculate for a week, exactly just what is the gigantic hollow at the end of the chapter. The crescent eye was present during Aizen's desertion from Soul Society so logically it has something to do with him. In the anime (Episode 62 I think) The eye is purple and several of them comment on it but until now nothing has been known about the creature, from the picture of it, it looks... furry. And it also has Menos Grande masks for fingernails. Ashido 47 13:39, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

Added by Ashido 47Yeah that's what i'm thinking as well that thing's always been seen through a Garaganta whenever a very large number of hollows or Menos Grande appear, and not only is not one of the latter but far larger and definitely stronger so I'm betting that it is at the level of an Espada or it's just that Wonderwice brought it in for fun.--SalmanH 15:24, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
There is more then likely a level of menos that is not normally seen by shinigami, I wouldn't go as far as to speculate what power level it would be at. It will be interesting to see what role the thing will play, if anything lets hope that its not really intelligent. Allon was bad enough it was just a beast. Salubri 15:28, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
I don't think much can be said about this guy, all we have to go on is his apprace, he's HUGE furry and has menos granda masks on his finger nails. now the last is really the only significant thing I can think about him. that is incredibly unusual, for one hollow to have so many masks. if not impossible, also if you hadn't noticed in a sidebar on the final page of 363 you see a close up of the mask and they are fractured,, what this mean/ I have now idea all we can do is speculate. what I though what that this hollow with all his broken masks are part of a special power of his, like the 9th espada who could absorb every aspect of a hollows power once consumed, some power like that but involving assimilation of the power and keeping there masks. also, this doesn't involve the giant, but when entering though the gate doesn't he seam a little more aggressive than usual? usualy he has more of a wide eyed innocent look but as he came through his eyes are a little narrowed it very slight but there.--Trippyfalls 16:21, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
That could be some kind of sign about where it's traits and abilities lie, but what I'm really interested in is how Aizen came in contact with it, how and why exactly he would have wanted to bring it in at this point, obviously it seems powerful but that couldn't be the only reason why it would be under Aizen's control or if it is even under his control and if it is how could he have planned it so far and discreetly enough that not even Starrk the 1st Espada would know why Wonderwice came.--SalmanH 17:08, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Has anyone written an article for this thing yet?
Considering it's size, I'm gonna place an early bet and say Sajin's up to fight it. TomServo101 17:27, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- Superchunky debuted all the way back in Chapter 178. From the looks of it, he seems to be the result of a conglomeration of Menos Grande. But, if that's the case I'm not sure why he didn't evolve into an Adjunchas, maybe the Menos simply fused together instead of being eaten. The Seaweed Ambassador 17:32, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Also you can't push or rush evolution it just happens after certain conditions are met. But besides that it is obviously big. Whether its under Aizen's control is questionable but the idea that sajin would fight it is just to funny. Its like everytime something big comes out lets bring in sajin, yea he has a giant but like is that all he's gonna be used for. I hope we eventually get more of a showcase of his powers. Also can some other characters come out already if only for some balance.Salubri 17:39, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes Sal. I did pick Sajin on those grounds. Transparent or what?
Who else though? Yama will want to keep an eye on Aizen. Soifon, Shunsui, Toshiro & Jushiro are all tied up elsewhere. Ichigo, Bya-kun, Kenny, Retsu, Mayuri et al are still in HM and otherwise occupied. Most liutenants and decent seats are KO'd, in HM or in Kira's case medic-ing. The Vizard? We dunno their allegience, and they're sure taking their sweet time getting there. Kisuke, Yuroichi, Isshin et al are nowhere in sight. Sajin's about the only one left who isn't doing something he can drop right now. (Yes, guard duty is important, but all threatening parties already have their hands full.)
Maybe Ugly here is the way that the others escape Hueco Mundo... TomServo101 17:53, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- Hollows generally become smaller as the progress, Superchunky is bloated so something got derailed there. The Vizards and Urahara's posse will have to enter some time, but at this pace, they might wait all the way until the Vasto Lorde Espada are ready. They have been gone for a while, maybe they asked Yachiru for directions to the fight. The Seaweed Ambassador 18:05, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
I think that this big guy might be one of Aizens early creations, because he did say that he was able to make various hollows when he tried to create a hollow shingiami hybrid. This would explain a few things about him if he was made by Aizen instead of naturally. On another note i dont think he is fury; if you look at his arm it is just a huge white arm with a big vain bulging out. I think we just see his hair on his shoulders and that it is just real messy, and by looking at his head he may be bald on top and the sides have long hair. But I guess we'll find out next week.
Adding on to what i just said, I also believe that Aizen planed far ahead and told Wonder to show up after a certain amount of time had passed to help speed things up. Unus7484 22:44, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
Just one more observation I would like to make is the garganta that the creature came through, when normal arrancar and even lesser Espada use the garganta, the sky just splits normally. But when the top 3 Espada and this beast used it, the line of the garganta appears and twists and warps before opening. This may indicate that it is indeed very powerful. Ashido 47 23:56, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
I'm not so sure since cifer is one of the top four espada not allowed to release their zanpakutos within Las Noches not mention his Segunda epta he is pretty powerful himself yet his garganta is opened in a much more stable manner maybe it's just a prefence of some espada like a signature entrance or something like that.--SalmanH 07:49, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
Hey has anyone wondered if this guy may have been the the one talking at the first episode and if he possess some sort of leadership status among the hollows.--SalmanH 14:04, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
We should know when they get round to animating it. All being well I guess 4 months. TomServo101 15:40, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Added by Blackstar1Well who ever said it was pale and veiny was right, and whoever said the furryness came out of the back of its head was also right. Even Captain Sajin thought it was the thing from before and according to Gin, it has really bad breath to which Aizen replies that that smell is exactly what death should smell like. It apparently has a mouth of some sort, and breath for that matter, which is powerful enough to blow away the captain commander's fire prison. Ashido 47 16:55, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Fura Hollow Classification
Edit
we all know there's no way that fura is a gillan or and Adjuchas because in the forest of the hollows mini-arc the adjuchas are easily defeated even by rukia! that and it has no proof that its a hollow it has no hole or mask this thing must either be a mutated hollow altered by the Hōgyoku by prolonged exposure actually destroying its mask and filling in the hole or something the Hōgyoku created on its own we may never know! --Bodock 09:01, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Note that was a filler arc so Rukia being able to kill Adjuchas class easly is not canon. We do not know what this hollow really is so leave its hollow rank and orgins alone.Saimaroimaru 00:15, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Don't be dissing Rukia. Medrike14 01:56, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Let's see...
1. Adjuchas class Menos are a highly variable bunch. Just like Shinigami lieutenants Adjuchas can range in power from modest to nearly (weak) Captain level.
2. Rukia is powerful enough to be a seated officer or even a Lieutenant in her own right.
3. Rukia has fought and defeated Espada class Arancar in single combat. She was in fact the first Shinigami to kill an Espada.
Considering these facts I'm not sure why people would be dismissive of the idea of Rukia decisively beating a couple of no-name Adjuchas even if its just filler. Her Shikai is definitely one of the more impressive and potentially destructive of all the Shikai out there.
Outside of that? Fura seems impressive but size isn't nearly as important as spiritual power. Hollows are routinely larger than there Shinigami opponents. Personally I would rate Fure a Adjuchas who is probably lugged around because he has some useful abilities not because of his overall raw power. Great Cthulhu 22:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
No Hollow Hole?
Edit
First, I'd like to wonder how anyone can determine that, seeing as how we haven't seen the entire hollow! It's still got an unknown percentage of its body inside the Garganta, especially considering that hollows aren't exactly known for always having human shapes. Honestly, we don't even know that the creature is a hollow, or if it's something different altogether. I won't nitpick that far, as the hollow masks on its fingers suggest strongly that it's some form of hollow, but I think it's a bit early to declare that it doesn't have a hollow hole. Magugag 05:36, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
I have to agree with you there.Medrike14 01:55, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
The Holes that appear on Hollows usually appear on somewhere around the torso and the hole goes all the way through that spot. So seeing as there is no hole present in the front view anywhere, it wouldn't be possible that he has one anywhere on the backside. He might not even be a Hollow.--Mr.Zeke 15:21, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Thats It?
Edit
This thing was able to blow out Yamamoto's fire and it dies just like that? ONE KICK? Vh3N 15:21, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
There is no proof he's dead. Allon could survive being cut in two. This hollow may well be able to live being cut, torn, split into pieces. Let's not get carried away. I am pretty sure in the end Yamamoto has to burn him to kill him. He looks like that kind of a monster. Tinni 16:05, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
I'm sure he'll be back next issue. It seems a little premature to get rid of him. TomServo101 16:09, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
As I've said before, we have absolutely no idea the true nature of this creature. It would be hasty to declare it dead when we don't even know if what we see is the whole body. Magugag 06:26, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Hah, between Ichimaru's comment and Wonderweiss's reaction it does seem Fura is finished. That was quick. But he does appear to be one of many. So... Tinni 11:30, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
I think that we should wait until at least the next chapter to decide whether he's actually dead or not, but his eye seemed to have popped out of his head. That does not bode well for Fura. LapisScarab 21:06, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Well, just because he's big and has a large lung capacity doesn't mean he's necessarily powerful. Twocents 21:14, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
He appears dead until further notice, and as stated before, there is probably more of his kind, so one dieing so easily, would be appropriate.--Mr.Zeke 15:26, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
