This is just a guess on my behalf but I think that Retsu Unohana will be to one to take out Yammy for a few reasons. First she is the most powerful captain that is in Las Noches so it would be safe to say she is best to take him out. Second is that she is the only captain not seen in an actual fight so far, and the only one in Hueco Mundo not to face an Espada. Finally based on her shikai size her bankai would be close to the size that Yammy is in his Resurrection form and it seems that Tite Kubo is showing all bankai's now and Yammy would be a good target to take out with her's. When was it actually said that the manta-ray thing was her shikai? I always thought it was her bankai because it was so huge, no other shikai has even come close to being that big, or involved a living creature, whereas several bankais, Mayuri's, Renji's and Komamura's are all variations on large animals. --BollyW 05:41, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

Hitsugaya has an animal-form shikai, the ice dragon. In his bankai, he is the dragon with the wings and all, but in shikai, the dragon is it's own form that Hitsugaya controls. It isn't unreasonable to think that Unohana also has an animal-form shikai, especially because we haven't seen the bankai of the other "senior" captains yet (Ukitake, Kyouraku). If she's so powerful, her bankai is probably a lot more intense than a manta ray with healing stomach fluids. QuoteRadar 20:05, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

How do you know that the healing stomach fluids is all it can do? Most captain level bankais we have seen are able to do many types of attacks and defences. As for Hitsugaya you do have a point but I don't think they are on the same level as Mayuri's Golden Ashigi Jizou, which is a similar size to Unohana's Minazuki. I was just wondering where it had been said that it was Unohana's shikai, for example an interview with the author. --BollyW 23:10, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

I think the shikai, minazukis offensive power is that i'ts tail can sting you and you get an electric shock/die or become paralyzed. Also, I can imagine isane kotetsu attacking Yammi and get badly hurt or killed and Retsu would go crazy and activate her bankai.
