Anyone else get the impression that Kubo hasn't thought of a release phase for Komamuro's zanpakuto? We haven't see a lot of Komamura's shikai but he did use it for like the second time ever in chapter 384 but once again, no release phrase! Kind of makes me wonder if Komamura even has one. But surely Kubo wouldn't do that. Right? Right? Tinni 00:56, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
He must have one! He had to start somewhere, right? To be honest, I think he's got the right idea; why waste time saying it when you can just do it? TomServo101 01:02, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
i'm pretty sure he says Tenken first. like he only needs to say his zanpaktou's name to release. Ichigo did the same to release Zangetsu, but of course never sealed so it was only seen the once. —This unsigned comment is by Nick D Wolfwood (talk • contribs) 11:08, December 15, 2009 (UTC). I should make clear that I didn't mean that Komamura didn't have a release phase in the context of the Bleach universe, just that I am wondering if we will ever find out about it since Kubo doesn't seem too keen to share. Maybe because Kubo's notes for Komamura includes the lines "can't be bothered thinking up release phase. He has one of course but I can't be bothered telling people what it is". If that makes sense. After reading the last chapter 385, Captain Komamura didn't look impressed by the strength of Tousen but rather by his resureccion. After all the apparitions and the several bankais he showed us, would Komamura Sajin reveal more of his power or would it be his end? I think (or maybe I hope) he will eventually reveal the true strength of the giant samurai Myou Tenken, morover what it is hidden behind the samurai's mask. It would be great to upgrade the beast aspect of Sajin Komamura. Not my best character but he could become...Ace of Spade 15:35, December 12, 2009 (UTC)
His Bankai could end up being just like Byakuya's. In the fact that it has more than one formation of its power. Maybe he will get to fuse with the giant, and gain badass armor and more power???...~~Captain of squad 0~~
i was actually surprised how strong Myouou Tengen is. It severely damaged tousen's arms just by being attacked by tousen. but unfortuantely, tousen has fast regeneration. i wonder what tousen's resurrection is. looks to me wider range of his bankai, which would make sense since myouou tengen won't fit in his bankai. for saijin, i bet he's gonna summon a giant wolf/dog alongside tengen, like a daigoro. (it could be him, lol)--WinterFox 00:19, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
KTM's movements are linked to Sajin's, so I don't think a canine companion is coming anytime soon (unless his dog is a shinigami too!) In the anime, he's (Tenken) has shown fire breath, and as KTM has a cloth over his gob, it should be easy to add it in if needed. I don't know if he has a beast side, but I hope he does; it'd do wonders for his credibility to go werewolf on Tosen. TomServo101 01:09, December 14, 2009 (UTC)
Sajin, the worst powerhouse
I feel pretty sorry for Sajin Komamura as far as Captains go and also as far as the generic powerhouse character in similar stories go.
So far the Canine Captain has had a single on screen victory using his Bankai and that against an opponent who only managed to beat ikkaku because the 3rd seat thought he could use a wooden stick to take the arrancar down!! Sajin's notable losses include not being able to take on Kenpachi, being annihilated by Aizen and in the anime by his own Zanpaktou (also interesting because again Kenpachi seems more than capable that taking on Tenken).
Poor Sajin is now going to face off against the ultra powered up Tosen and also has the knowledge that his big but useless Bankai now has the added weakness of hurting him if damaged!! I know it's always a good show of an enemies ferocity to take out the powerhouse but i am a big fan of Sajin and now he looks worse off as a captain than Soi Fon who is my least liked captain!
how will he fare against the Ressureccion of Tosen? i have a feeling not well unless he gains some hitherto unseen new abilities for his Bankai. —This unsigned comment is by Nick D Wolfwood (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
Does his bankai's weakness apply to his shikai as well?
Watching 293, I could have sworn that he used his shikai against Aizen first. Then part of the giant sword broke, same happened to Komamura's zanpaktou, I believe.—This unsigned comment is by Tman7776 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
