Some of you may have noticed the blog comments pulling a disappearing act of late. It seems the comments in blogs are only appearing once another post after it has been made. I am not sure what is happening with it but I am in contact with Wikia about it. What I need to know is which users are experiencing this and what browser they are using. So if you are unable to see certain blog comments, please post below and include what browser you are using and what version of that browser you are using. I have been having the same issue. I have kept having to refresh my browser, even then not all of the comments show up. Oh and my browser that I use on a day-to-day basis is Safari (either 4.0 or 5). Good to know, I myself use Firefox 3.6 so we know already that it takes place on multiple browsers. A temporary solution to the problem is to make a dummy post on the blog, the dummy post brings all other comments into view and will be excluded until a new post is made. Yea I have been dealing with a lot of tech issues the last few weeks. I have been working as a beta tester, and I am working with the software company to fix a major bug in the software. My sim card on my phone keeps freezing from the cold, it was so bad tonight I had to defrost my phone with a hand warmer. But, it's good to know it's not just me. Well I have been experiencing the same problem for weeks now. The comments appear when you post another comment, or they show up on their own after a couple of hours (when you're lucky) or two-three days (when you're not). I use Google Chrome, refreshing serves no use. I have been trying to track down what the problem is and I notice that when I go to the blog when the comments are not showing up, the "Recent Activity" window, is also not updated, but shows the "Recent Activity" of the time when the last visible comment was submitted. So I believe it's some sort of bug that makes the blog unable to update itself with the rest of the wiki, rather than the comments simply not showing up.
