The Calligraphy Club (書道の会, Shodō no Kai) is an organization within the Soul Society for the practice of the traditional Japanese calligraphy.[1]

The chairman of the club is Byakuya Kuchiki, with other notable members including Retsu Unohana and Jūshirō Ukitake. Renji Abarai attended one meeting, but only because he was invited. As with the other clubs, Yachiru Kusajishi drops in during break time for snacks. However, as Byakuya often has snacks in the shape of the Wakame Ambassador, a character of his own design, Yachiru leaves without eating them, as she finds the Wakame Ambassador "weird."[2] The budget of the club is 150,000 kan.[1]
