Benin (ベニン, Benin) is a character from the movie Bleach: Memories of Nobody. She is the only female member of the Dark Ones. She helped kidnap Senna in their attempt to destroy the worlds, and was killed by Suì-Fēng.

Appearance

Benin wears the standard green armor of the Dark Ones, but designed it to show much of her cleavage (similar to Rangiku Matsumoto's shihakusho) along with two cuts on her sleeves that somewhat reveal her shoulders. She has long purple hair, unique amongst the rest of her clan, and yellow eyes.
Personality Edit
Out of all the qualities shown, Benin appeared to be sadistic, rash, ignorant and arrogant.
HistoryEdit
The Dark Ones were once a part of the Fallen House of Ryōdoji, exiled 1000 years ago to the Dangai. Amazingly, the group somehow managed to avoid the deadly current flowing through the entire Dangai, and resided there for many years. It was in this world that Benin, along with the rest of her clan, discovered the souls that evaded transmigration and turned into wandering ghosts: The Blanks. The Dark Ones learned to harness the Blanks as an energy source for their own power learning all the information there is about them, and formulated a plan for revenge against Soul Society. Some time before the events of the film take place, Benin's clan came to the Valley of Screams where they continued to reside.

Bleach: Memories of NobodyEdit
Benin, along with the rest of the Dark Ones (except for their leader Ganryū) attempt to capture Senna in the graveyard she visits, but retreat as soon as Ichigo Kurosaki arrives to save her. Later, when Ichigo breaks into the Valley of Screams to save Senna, she, along with the rest of the Dark Ones attempt to stop him, but is interrupted when the Shinigami arrive to back Ichigo up. She attempts to fight Rangiku Matsumoto, but retreats when she releases her Zanpakutō. Later, she attempts to kill Yumichika Ayasegawa with a crossbow-like weapon, but the attack is intercepted by Suì-Fēng, who then challenges her to a fight. She initially seems to have the upper hand against Suì-Fēng, even managing to almost strangle her, but Suì-Fēng manages to break free from her hold and kills her with her Suzumebachi's special ability.
Powers & AbilitiesEdit
Blank Manipulation: As a Dark One, Benin had the ability to manipulate Blanks. She was not shown using them in any way other than increasing her power.
Marksmanship Specialist: Benin was very proficient with a crossbow, and could have shot Yumichika from several kilometers away if not for Suì-Fēng's intervention.
Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Benin was skilled enough in unarmed combat to temporarily gain the upper hand against Suì-Fēng, a captain, before the latter fought seriously.
Shunpo: Like all Dark Ones, Benin could use Shunpo to at least the extent of a Shinigami lieutenant, as seen in her fight with Matsumoto.
